Entry for the Grand Egyptian Museum International Competition by amara architects was selected among most significant projects to be published in a dedicated book.
Taking into account that Ramallah was under military curfew for almost the entire period of the competition, this is considered to be a great acheivement.

recognition and praise that the International Architectural Competition of
the GrandEgyptianMuseum had received from the UIA and the Jury members had
necessitated the publication of a book that include the most distinctive
projects that were submitted in the First Phase of the Competition.
Accordingly, the Ministry of Culture had commissioned a Scientific Committee to
select some distinctive entries to be included in this publication.?
